Our Fees
Nobody likes surprises when it comes to paying for dental work, that's why we take the time to explain what will be done and how much it will cost*. Whenever possible, we offer you several treatment options based on what works for you. We are completely transparent about our fees for dental work.
All our fees are set using the 2023 Alberta Dental Association. The fee guide can be found here.
Our fees are 15 percent higher than the fee guide. This gets you truly personalized**, minimally invasive dental care, done in an environmentally responsible manner and in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. You'll walk out with a beautiful smile, eager to tell your family and friends who your dentist is :) In many cases, Dr. Roche can use a minimally invasive approach to improve your tooth health, which also can reduce the costs involved. * Please note, that we provide estimates to the best of our ability. Dr. Roche does her best to predict treatment required, but this can change depending on the situation. Also, we are not responsible for the actual amount your insurance will pay. Sometimes insurance companies don't follow their own pre-estimates or we don't know your previous spending amounts.
** For example, we assess every patient for their decay risk, and take x-rays accordingly: low risk patients with stable teeth only require x-rays every two years, not every year or every 6 months. Also, our hygienists recommend a cleaning schedule based on your individual situation. It could be advised you get our professional assistance yearly, every six months, or every 3 or 4 months for high risk management of perio issues. Studies have shown that frequent professional cleanings are important to prevent tooth decay and bone loss.
