Minimally Invasive & Biocompatible

Minimally invasive, biological dentistry removes less natural tooth and uses biocompatible materials that help strengthen existing tooth structure.
We offer a new way to treat cavities: Silver Diamine Fluoride. Check it out. Our dental sealants contain no BPA, Bis-GMA or BPA derivatives. Ceramic and gold remain excellent biocompatible materials, and there are other options too. Dr Roche likes to use bio-active restorative materials that mimic the properties of tooth structure, both mechanically and biologically. These materials include MTA restorative and materials with activated glass particles that interact in your mouth to strengthen the adjacent tooth. Other options include direct ceramic-based restoration materials. No / Low radiation diagnosis. We can often detect tooth problems using light to transilluminate your teeth to locate enamel damage, decay or cracks. We use low radiation digital sensors for x-rays. |

Patient centred care means educating you about your treatment options, the benefits and differences with each one and the costs involved.
We encourage patients to seek second opinions and ask lots of questions. We do our best to avoid surprises with costs, and will coordinate to direct bill your insurance company. However, you are ultimately responsible to contact your carrier and know your coverage. You decide your treatment after getting the information. |
